Walnut, Patterned Glass

The parquetry panels of the Patchwork cabinet are made up of 576 individual squares of quarter-sawn walnut. Each piece is joined to the next with the grain orientation flipped, creating acontrast in the reflective qualities of the grain structure. The case is joined with through dovetails and supported by gently curved legs. Patterned glass echoes the parquetry panels.
